Preserve the Legacy of Seton Catholic School!
The Corridor for the Future Campaign
The History of Growth at Seton Catholic School
1996: Founding families put their faith in their mission, and in one another, desiring the best for their children. Working together, and with the generous support of donors, Seton Catholic School was able to open its doors in August of 1997 on a nine-acre campus in Hudson.
2004: Current families chose a faith-based elementary education for their children, forgoing a strong public school option for an academically excellent and smaller, family-oriented environment. They soon realized that their school had become a desired option for many more than the building could accommodate with a regional outreach. Seton Catholic School leadership created a three phase vision of what Seton would emerge into through coming years. Through the Spirit of Seton-Phase 1 capital campaign funds were raised to build the Primary and Middle School wing of Seton Catholic School. This phase of the school opened to students in August of 2006.
2012: Current families began talking about a facility that would provide a home court advantage gymnasium; performing arts stage and space for concerts, theater productions, and events; and the ability to protect our sacred space, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Chapel, for appropriate activities. Through the Spirit of Seton-Phase 2 capital campaign, funds were raised to break ground in August of 2013, with The Valentine Family Center opening in March of 2014.
2020: As we continue to provide a premier Catholic education for the current, and future, Seton Crusaders we are excited to share our plans to accomplish the Spirit of Seton-Phase 3 capital campaign – Corridor for the Future; Continuing the Vision; Connecting the Campus! Through the support of our Seton Community, the vision for the addition to the Seton Catholic School campus will provide the following:
With the design of the additional classrooms and collaboration spaces – exciting programs including environmental education, technology, STREAM, entrepreneurship, the arts, campus ministry, collaborative projects, enrichment, and all services will be enhanced.
