As an independent school, Seton Catholic operates without ongoing financial support from any diocese, parish, or religious group.
Because tuition alone does not cover the entire cost of each child’s education, we seek support from all stakeholders and friends.
Seton functions solely under the financial model of Tuition + Donations = Cost of Education.
Teachers are the heart of Seton Catholic. They shape the lives of our children and fuel their growth and development each day. The lessons they teach extend beyond the classroom, helping us raise morally conscious leaders. To recognize and support these important people, the Teacher Endowment Fund was established to fund faculty salaries and resources. Outstanding teachers are the hallmark of an independent private Catholic school education. Donating to the Teacher Endowment Fund honors our teachers and the impact they make on our children’s lives today – and ensures that commitment to excellence continues in perpetuity. Through this fund, the administration will be able to offer teachers incentives to continue their work at Seton Catholic School and reward their dedication and ministry to our students. The Teacher Endowment Fund will help in the recruitment and retention of excellent teachers by helping to bridge the gap between the salaries of Seton teachers and their counterparts in the public school system. A growing endowment will protect Seton’s most valuable assets now and into the future.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match your charitable contributions. This is an easy way to double or triple your gift. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, contact your Human Resources department or call Mrs. Roubic (330) 342-4200 ext. 232 or by email at roubics@setoncatholicschool.org.
Giving appreciated stock to Seton Catholic School is a wonderful way to help us continue our mission and for the owner to receive tax benefits on such gifts. It allows Seton to receive a larger gift than if it was sold by the owner and the proceeds donated to the school. In turn, the owner receives a greater tax deduction by giving the stock directly to Seton Catholic School. Contact Mrs. Roubic (330) 342-4200 ext. 232 or by email at roubics@setoncatholicschool.org for more information and the Stock/Security Transfer Form.
A simple, flexible and versatile way to ensure we can continue our work for years to come is a gift in your will or living trust, known as a charitable bequest. A charitable bequest is one or two sentences in your will or living trust that leave to Seton Catholic School a specific amount of money or gift contingent upon certain events or a percentage of your estate. By including a bequest to Seton in your will or living trust, you are ensuring that we can continue our mission for years to come. Your gift also entitles your estate to an unlimited federal estate tax charitable deduction. Contact Mrs. Roubic (330) 342-4200 ext. 232 or by email at roubics@setoncatholicschool.org for more information.
