MURPH BALL IS BACK!!  Murph Ball is an instructional, 4-week basketball program for 1st and 2nd graders.  The goal is to teach the players the fundamentals and rules of the game.  Each session will be one hour in length and is taught by our former gym teacher, Dr. Murphy.  The program starts on February 12 and runs for 4 Sundays (2/12, 2/19, 3/4 an 3/11).  Your child will be assigned to one of four sessions.  The sessions are at Noon, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00.  The second graders will be assigned to the earlier sessions.  Depending on the numbers, one of the sessions may be a mix of first and second graders.  You may indicate a time preference but we cannot guarantee that preferences will be honored.  There is limited space so slots will be filled first come, first serve.  Deadline to register is February 2, 2012, but registration will close when 40 slots are filled.  Cost is $25 (includes a t-shirt).

VOLLEYBALL COACHES NEEDED!!  Believe it or not, spring volleyball season is right around the corner.  We are looking for Girls Volleyball Coaches (moms or dads) for 3rd and 4th grade.  Coaching is a fun way to get involved in your child’s athletic pursuits – no experience required!!  Training will be provided – we just need your enthusiasm!  The season begins in March and is over by early May.  If you have any interest or questions, please contact Volleyball Commission, Sherilynne Grecol, at ssgrecol@yahoo.com.  Thank you for considering the possibility of volunteering.  None of the athletic programs are possible without our volunteer coaches.  GO CRUSADERS!!
