PTO FUNDRAISING AND SPECIAL EVENTS

The Seton PTO raises funds to help support our school and fund the programs we provide for our school community. 

Your support of these optional fundraisers enables the PTO to provide support to our school in the following ways:

  1. Administration - by purchasing equipment for the school like the Parent Broadcast System, and to provide valuable volunteers for the many needs of the faculty and staff
  2. Teachers – providing funds for professional development, curriculum development, and classroom expenses
  3. Parents – helping to defray the costs of field trips, classroom parties, and classroom raffle/auction items, and providing social events to enrich our school community
  4. Students – helping to organize and fund programs to promote our Catholic traditions and to provide fun family centered social activities

Retailer Incentive Programs: Ongoing throughout the year

Giant Eagle’s "Apples for the Students" Program:  Giant Eagle offers a VERY EASY way to earn free equipment for Seton Catholic School.  There is no need to collect receipts -- just register your Giant Eagle card with Seton Catholic School and use it when you shop, buy gasoline, etc.  Once registered, each time you shop at Giant Eagle and use your Advantage card, your purchases are credited towards Seton. 

That's it!  And there is NO IMPACT on any other Giant Eagle incentive programs (Fuel Perks). You can register not only your card, but those of grandparents, neighbors, friends and other relatives. 
THE PROGRAM IS NEW THIS YEAR – EVERYONE MUST RE-ACTIVATE THEIR ACCOUNT!
 There are two easy ways to register your card with Seton for the Apples for the Students program (School ID # 4048):
  • On the internet at www.gianteagle.com/about/apples-for-students.
    • Enter your email under the “Register here” link, or if already registered, sign into your account.
    • Make sure your school name is “Seton Catholic” and school ID “4048” is listed.
    • You are re-registered!
  • On the phone by calling 1-800-474-4777
    • Tell the operator your Giant Eagle Advantage card number and Seton’s school ID, 4048
